The Future of Beamers \u2013 A New Chapter for Brixham<\/strong> \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n To the Wonderful Customers, Friends & The Brixham Community,<\/p>\n Following the devastating fire at Olive Mediterranean Kitchen & Wine Bar on Monday 27th April, we are proud to announce that Beamers Restaurant on the Quay will become the temporary home of Olive as part of a very special pop-up collaboration led by Olive\u2019s Head Chef Alex alongside both the Olive and Beamers teams.<\/p>\n This exciting partnership brings together two much-loved, award-winning independent restaurants, one with a long-established history on the Quay and one that has quickly become a favourite within the town. Together, we\u2019ll be creating a unique dining experience celebrating exceptional food, warm hospitality, fine wines, and the very best of Brixham.<\/p>\n We are also pleased to confirm that The Greenway Group has acquired Beamers Restaurant with immediate effect, alongside the ground floor premises beneath, known as ULA, which will follow in September. With the support and involvement of Simone and the Beamers team, this ensures that Beamers\u2019 legacy can continue long into the future.<\/p>\n For the next few months (around 12 weeks), Beamers and Olive will operate together from the Quay, combining our teams, menus, ideas, and passion for hospitality while Olive\u2019s home venue undergoes extensive restoration works.<\/p>\n Quite simply:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2764\ufe0f Beamers is proud to support Olive during this incredibly difficult time. When Olive is eventually able to return home later this year, Beamers will continue through the season independently before closing temporarily to begin an exciting new transformation. In 2026, Beamers will return as a stunning new two-floor flagship restaurant overlooking our beautiful harbour.<\/p>\n Most importantly, Beamers\u2019 proud 25-year history of championing fresh Brixham fish, supporting local fishermen, and serving our wonderful community will remain firmly at the heart of everything we do. Following the recent loss of beloved venues within the town, we felt passionately that Brixham should continue to have a truly special independent fish restaurant on the Quay for many years to come.<\/p>\n This has undoubtedly been a challenging time for everyone involved, but we firmly believe something incredibly special can emerge from it, a collaboration built on resilience, friendship, community spirit, and a shared love for hospitality.<\/p>\n To all Beamers and Olive customers, suppliers, partners, and supporters, thank you sincerely for your continued kindness, encouragement, and loyalty.
